The Eddie Cochran Weekend & Low Bucks Car Show & Swap was held June 16, 17, 18 in 2006.

This was the 20th Annual Show & Swap for Low Bucks Car Club! Congrats to them on 20 years.

Friday

Friday night was the cruise-in & social sponsored by Country Inn & Suites. A free drive-in theatre was held at the fairgrounds.

 

Gathering before the Saturday Cruise

Saturday

On Saturday there was a Hospice Walk/run that started at 7:30am at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.

The entire day could be spent taking-in a city-wide rummage sale. Held on both Saturday and Sunday a lot of stuff was bought & sold.  

All Old Car clubs from the area were invited for a reunion....10 AM until cruise time.

The Freeborn County Historical Society hosted an.Eddie Cochran and Marion Ross exhibit at the museum The museum is adjacent tothe Freeborn County Fairgrounds where the car show was held.

Car Cruise line-up 4-6PM. Cruise was 26 miles. If my memory is correct, there were some 350 cars on hand. The cruise finished-up at the North Broadway parking lot for the street dance. The Fantastic Cadillacs was the featured band.

Sunday

The Low Bucks Car Club 20th annual Show & Swap was held on Sunday. What perfect weather we had. 

There were 40 car classes, a model car contest, food, and door prizes. Besides the 40 car awards, there were also special trophies for Best GM, Best Mopar, Best Ford, Best Chevy, Best of Show, Best Restoration, Club Participation, and Clubs Choice.

Grand Prize for the event was a Lincoln Wire Feed Welder 135T.
